Thanks God

file0001866276917The internet is full of rants. Help tip the balance: today, simply be thankful for something (or someone).

Reading today’s prompt I thought I could just reblog my last post “because she’s mine“about how thankful I’m to my mom for her life and how I would like to give her something back now when she needs me.

Today I want to thank God for her, for my dad who is no longer around. The most wonderful people I’ve met in my life. I learned so much from them. I didn’t choose them. He gave them to me. I thank Him for my brother and my sisters and the wonderful family I have. So many great memories and experiences that shaped my life.

I’m a very lucky woman because I can say I have never had a day without being loved. I’ve never been alone. Yes, I’m sick with an illness that isolates you in many ways. I can say I suffer a lot because of that. I have difficulties as everyone has in life. I had to experience harsh situations. But thanks God I’m alive and loved. Every day is a gift from heaven, and every day I thank God for a new opportunity to live, to make things right, to learn from my mistakes of yesterday. He gives me everything I have that matters to me. Love. Faith. Hope.

Daily Prompt: Thank You.
