Bewitched

You have been transformed into a mystical being who has the ability to do magic. Describe your new abilities in detail. How will you use your new skills?

I used to dream being like Samantha from the old TV series “Bewitched” who with a simple movement of her nose had all her housework done: the dishes, the cleaning, the laundry, the ironing, everything instantly and effortless. That would be great. I guess Mickey Mouse, in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice had the same idea but with a disastrous result because he used the magic not knowing exactly how was working and for his own profit. Everything went wrong.  Knowing me I guess I would be another sorcerer’s apprentice playing with magic for my comfort. A disaster. Nevertheless sometimes when the work is pressing I still dreaming being Samantha.

But I would like to do magic to help others. I would like to have the ability to make people agree with each other and use it to make peace where there is war. Other magic power would be to grow vegetables and find fresh water wherever I want to provide for the hungry and thirsty. I would like to have the power to make people laugh, above all the children, make them happy.

My problem? I don’t believe in magic. I guess all these things I wish only can be accomplished with a lot of talent, good will and hard work.
