She was always complaining because of the errands her parents make her do.
-Can’t bobby do that?
-He is too little. He will help you soon, but now we need you.
-It’s not fair. I want to have a life.
-You have a wonderful life, his dad told her. A good family, a good school and everything you need, even the puppy you asked for last Christmas, Toto. Stop complaining, go to your Grandma’s house to give her medicines and make sure she has everything she needs. And you can go with Toto.
-Even a dog’s life is better than mine! The girl shouted.
She put on her warmest scarf, took the bag with the medicines, and leash Toto to go to her Grandma’s.
When they were walking thru a path surrounded by old trees, she began to talk to his dog.
-Yes, Toto. I envy you.
-Really?
-Woof! she barked, startled at the sound of the voice.
-Yes! I’m free now! I can talk, cried Toto, turned into a man. And he ran away, leaving her turned into a dog wrapped in her scarf alone in the middle of the path.
