She was alone at her table having tea, her eyes sad and lost, not caring about what was happening around her.
It didn’t seem to bother her that an elegantly dressed stranger from a nearby table kept watching her, clearly trying to get her attention.
A few minutes passed, and she was still alone, so he decided to make a move. He came over and said:
-It is not suitable for such a beautiful woman to be alone, may I accompany you?
And he sat next to her without giving her time to answer.
-Are you waiting for someone?
“No,” she replied, I’m just taking a break from work.
-My name is Gregory. This place is very dull. Wouldn’t you like to go with me to a nearby cocktail bar that I know well?
-I don’t know you.
-Do I look like I want to take advantage of you?
-One never knows.
-Well, then we’ll stay here.
Gregory called the waiter, who was behind her, to order coffee. She looked back for a moment, and he took the opportunity to pour some powder into the woman’s teacup.
Two men appeared out of nowhere and held him tightly by the arms. He struggled hard, trying to escape as the woman took a pistol out of her bag and pointed it at his chest.
We have you, Greg. You will never kidnap and murder any woman again!
The two policemen who had held Greg said to the young woman,
All right, Liz, you’ve played your part, now put the gun away.
But she shot.
-But what are you doing? said agent Powers
-That’s for him to pay my sister’s death.
Yipes! While I read the first half of your story, I didn’t see all that action coming along! Good twists at the end 🙂

Wow! This starts of feeling quite romantic and the pow! She’s a police officer who spikes and shoots him because he’s a rotten creep! Nice one, I loved that.
